Dr. Akbar Jafferally is a dedicated dentist with more than two decades of experience delivering modern, patient-focused dental care. His philosophy centers on quality treatment in a comfortable environment, with an emphasis on patient education and informed decision-making. He has advanced training in Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ disorder, and periodontal care.

Alongside his private practice, Smiles on Greatwood Dentistry, Dr. Jafferally is the Founder and Director of the Greatwood Dental Assisting Program, an accredited school that has graduated over 650 registered dental assistants with a 100% pass rate. The program offers a flexible hybrid model designed for working adults and not only prepares students for successful careers but also provides placement opportunities, many of whom are hired within his own offices.

In addition, he serves as owner/partner of UR Smile Dental Group, overseeing multiple dental offices across Greater Houston. Recognized as one of “America’s Top Dentists,” Dr. Jafferally continues to combine his passion for dentistry with innovation, education, and service to his community.
