Dr. Akbar H. Jafferally
Dr. Jafferally is a graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Jafferally came to Texas in 2001. His philosophy and vision for Greatwood Dental Assisting Program is to offer quality training and education for dental care in a comfortable, modern environment.
A graduate of Kaplan University and has been a Texas Registered Dental Assistant since 2007. He has achieved many post during his years of experience and mastered the art of dentistry and skills set. He always been an educator and strongly believes that intellectual quality of a school depends not upon an abstract curricular design, but upon the quality of mind, classroom inventiveness and dedication of teacher and upon the support given that teacher or instructor and school leaders. He brings knowledge and experience to his students.
Kara St. Onge
A graduate of Wharton County Junior College and life long resident of Fort Bend County, Kara has spent nearly two decades working in the accounting and administrative fields. Kara has a passion for inspiring and encouraging others to follow their dreams. One of Kara’s most rewarding accomplishments this year was becoming a new mother to a beautiful baby girl. Kara is a firm believer that loyalty, honesty, and integrity are a person’s greatest assets.

Great School! Great instructors! If you want to be a dental assistant come to this school. You will learn everything within 10 Saturday’s. I love that you get hands on training. Not just book work.
Staffs are friendly and extremely helpful. Got to do a lot of hands experience with real patients. Classes are hands on during the morning and evening, then after is book and lecture work. Class hours are every Saturday 8am-5pm which is really helpful if you have a busy schedule.
The instructors are really friendly and kind and will help you as much as possible so that you can be ready to start your career. It is a great place to be and very welcoming.
